HEY EVERYONE!!
I know, it been a while! I find it hard in the off season to keep up with this thing! As everyone knows, I qualified for the European Tour this year and am at my first tournament in Morocco, Africa this week! We got here friday afternoon and had the rest of the day friday and today to rest up. It definatly takes at least 3 days to get used to the time change (5 hours) We called the LET today and thinking it was sunday, we were trying to get a shuttle from the airport to the golf course for tomorrow to get to work and was informed that the shuttle would not start until monday. I said of course, tomorrow, I would like to get a shuttle. The LET coordinator had to inform me that tomorrow IS sunday not monday! ......very upside down at this point! but glad we had another day to prepare! We will go to the golf course tomorrow and work on the greens since the range and course is closed until Monday!
Besides the time difference, the food and language is a wholeee 'nother story! They try to have menus with food to accommodate many cultures but I ordered a "fajita" today and got dried chicken and veggies in a pita! :( I miss McDonald's but i guess it could do us some good to shed a few pounds lol :)
We took today to sleep in a rest and to explore the resort grounds. We found the beach and where to eat for dinner. Only 3 resturants on site and seem to have the same menu everywhere ::Sighhh: o well :) It is really pretty here and got up to about 80 degrees with clear skies! I was laying by the pool this afternoon and was thanking God because not everyone has the opportunity to lay by the pool in Morocco, Africa!
We are going to get to work tomorrow, now rested! really exited to get to work and see the course! Ill post pictures soon and will keep you posted on the action going on! Remember LadiesEuropeanTour.com for livescoring!
Love you guys!
God Bless
Jess
