Just saying hello!

Hey guys!

I was just thinking, after the first 3 local mini tour events, I have to admit, I was feeling pretty low about the scores that I was producing. I wasn't feeling in control of my game but I am really happy to say that Im actually really excited for the Eagle Classic in Richmond in 2 weeks! Im in a really good place, happy, hard working, organized and things at home are starting to cool down and I really am finding my place. Im starting to put myself out there, looking for new things and a lot of cool business opportunities are starting to happen!!  This week was the first week of working with Patti 3 days in a row and its starting to feel really awesome! Of course, its always a work in progress but I certainly am feeling progress, focus and really happy. That is all :) just thought id share the good feelings with you guys and hope to be going low soon!!!

Have a great weekend!

Glimpse of Light

Well hello everyone, another week down in the pro books and I am starting to get more comfortable and get into my place.

Again, not happy with ALL of the results but defiantly happy with a lot of what happened this week! I shot 79 69 79 for the 3 day event out at Harmony Golf Preserve in St. Cloud and shot 73 at a course in St. Cloud Royal Links today. Both 79's were a result of 2 bad holes a round and a few 3 putts, nothing a little maintenance can't fix. As far as the 69 goes, I put the driver in the bag (a work in progress) and hit 3 wood off the tee on every hole out there! By doing so, I was able to hit every fairway but one and felt very confident! Because I can swing confidently, I was hitting my 3 wood awesome, out driving my competitors who were using their drivers, so I didn't put my self at much of a disadvantage using 3 wood...So after that round, there actually was a glimpse of light at the end of this longgggg dark golf tunnel! :)

My swing coach Patti was there when I finished todays final round and we worked on the range for a little bit as well. As far as the driver goes, I played a round today after the final round of the tournament and was hitting it very well and straight and CONFIDENT! work in progress but Im seeing awesome things.

I love being back in orlando to have Patti and my inner circle so close. Its nice to have people around to help you and keep you focused and positive. I have the next week off so I will be working with Patti and at the range. My new practice plan involves target practice and focused routine practice because thats whats going to take me to the next level the quickest.

Im excited for my upcoming schedule, giving a lesson tomorrow!! my next Sun Coast Series Event at Mission Inn and then 2 LPGA Futures Tour events in August. Prepare, prepare, prepare!

Week 3

Hey Guys!

Yesterday was a success! I just want to thank everyone again for coming out and supporting my next big move in the "real" world ( if thats what you call playing golf for a living!) Everyone that I care about and those that care about me were there supporting me and it meant the world. I was on the Par 3 17th at Wekiva Golf Course playing "Beat the Pro". I think my record was something like 65-5. Included in those 5 that actually beat my shot was my dad and my sister.......didn't hear the end of that one but still had a blast! On that par 3 alone, with the donations, I made enough money for one entry fee on the Sun Coast Tour so you can imagine how successful and helpful the tournament was! It is really going to help out with Q-school coming up in the Fall as well. I am so blessed and appreciative for everyones love and help.
This week I am playing in my third Sun Coast Event at Harmony Golf Preserve in Orlando, Fla. Im really excited to see how my game has already improved from last week. Today I played my practice round with Ashely Cox (My new bff!! :) and had a lesson with Patti in the morning. We worked on lofts and lies and yardages as well as a few technical stuff I always have to touch up. Overall it was a great day and I'm ready for tomorrow's first round.

Anyways, I just wanted to thank everyone again for coming to my tournament and let you know what was next on the schedule. Ill write again after this week's event to let you know how I did!!
Off to bed and to read Patti's book that she published a few years ago called "Knack 4 Anything" by Patti McGowan. I truly recommend it to everyone, not just golfers!! Goodnight!

First Weeks as a PRO!! recap

Hello Everyone! This is my first Blog ever! Although I am very active on twitter as well as facebook but I hope you enjoy my blogging as well! I created this account in order to keep everyone up to date on my events, experiences and finishes on the tours I am traveling with this season.
The first 2 weeks as a pro I have already learned SO much and I am enjoying every second of it. I am currently playing on the Ladies Sun Coast Tour in the central Florida area and looking forward to a couple LPGA futures tour events in August! The Sun Coast is a great way to keep your competitive game sharp while preparing for Q-school at the end of September! Although the first 2 weeks of events (Stoneybrook West in Orlando & LPGA international in Daytona Beach) did not result in the way I would have liked, like I said, I have already learned alot. Last week Patti, my swing coach from Lake Nona, Orlando, came out to the event and got to analyze my game from inside the ropes and under the pressure of competition and that alone has helped me grow to the next step. Looking forward to this week's event at Harmony Golf Preserve in Orlando!
Tomorrow (Saturday July 16th) I will be hosting my first annual Fundraising Scramble Golf Tournament and I can't wait! We, my family and Wekiva golf club, have been working so hard for months planning this event and we are counting on a great turnout, weve estimated about 80 players!  Its amazing and I am truly blessed to have some many supportive people around me and I can't wait to share every step of my journey with them/you!  I cant wait to see my team mates, golf coach Jan Dowling (havent seen them in about a month!) and friends I have'nt seen in years! Everyones coming out and I cant wait! Mia Piccio and her dad are spending the night tonight at our house in casselberry and I could'nt have finished all my chores for the tournament tonight if it wasn't for her help! So glad she could make it, seeing that her and her dad have been on the road for days and she just finished an amatuer qualifer this afternoon! Off to the North South Am and Trans am next week! ...life of the golfer! Thanks Mia! :))

Being home from college for only 2 weeks now has also brought me back to my roots and its refreshing and I am so appreciative for all of the people that supported me in middle/highschool to still be on my side and cheering me on to this day! I guess coming back from college and living with your parents isnt that bad after all......well....maybe :)
Anyways, thanks so much for your interest and I hope I can keep you entertained as well as informed about my golf career! Goodnight and God Bless xo!
