Round one is officially over and my nerves can get LOST!
Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous today and let it get the best of me on my first 7 holes. I had a bad start to round one but am pleased to say that I came back the last 11! I made the turn at +5 after 9 holes and played the next 9, 1 under. I was strong and turned things around to finish the day at +4.
I am currently in T-134 and have 3 days to chip away at that number, and thats exactly what I plan to do.
After the round, Brian (my caddy) and I worked for a couple hours on the range and did what we needed to do to score a low number tomorrow. We both figured that honestly, as good as I have been hitting the ball the past month, today was about the worst I could have played. (Glad to get it out of my system!)
Time to go low.
LpgaFuturestour.com will have scores. I tee off at 745am tomorrow! Wish me luck!
